Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer for contract with a client in Charlotte, NC - Hybrid - (3 days onsite in a week). Ideally, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in Oracle, PL/SQL development, Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL statements in Oracle 19c, Oracle packages, procedures, Horizon/Bitbucket/Artifactory. Pay Range: $60 -$65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Responsibilities: • Understand client's requirements (stories), come up with the story level design and translate into deliverables. • Ability to learn business processes and apply that knowledge to assigned tasks. • Experience working in an agile environment • Demonstrate excellent programming, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Required Skills: • 10 Yrs Experience person required • Must have strong experience in Oracle packages, procedures, functions, analytics functions. • Develop and maintain PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL statements in Oracle 19c. • Performance Tuning including tuning/optimizing SQL, PL/SQL code. • Maintain re-useable development standards that help implement each solution and/or enhancements to existing systems to meet current and future needs • Strong facilitation and communication skills - both verbal and written - is a must • Demonstrated experience designing solution approaches for large scale enterprise systems • Demonstrated experience providing code reviews and mentoring across multiple agile teams • Experience migrating to CI/CD with SDM platform (Horizon/Bitbucket/Artifactory/etc.) • Reads code in multiple languages and inspects infrastructure in order to thoroughly understand current state before requesting or implementing changes to be added Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
