Oracle PL/SQL Developer - W2

Oracle PL/SQL Developer - Cobol Location: Hybrid in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Dallas 6 month contract to hire $55-$60/hour W2 Project Overview: This contractor will support two strategic initiatives: • MCA Change Effort: Enhancing and maintaining Oracle software packages to meet evolving business needs. • European Expansion Project: Building new functionality to enable corporate clients to operate in European markets. Team & Environment: Join an agile team of 10–15 members collaborating with other agile squads to deliver impactful solutions for our business partners and stakeholders. The team has a diverse industry background and is open to candidates from both financial services and other sectors. Payments experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities: • Participate in daily stand-ups and scrum ceremonies • Execute agile project tasks in a non-production environment • Occasionally assist with production work when required Required Technical Skills: • COBOL (Visual COBOL, COBOL 6, or Micro Focus COBOL) • Oracle Database (preferably version 19c) • SQL / PL-SQL • Linux (RHEL 7.9 or 8.2) • WebLogic • Experience in banking, financial services, or large enterprise environments Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills: • Oracle Flexcube (strongly preferred) • ETL experience (e.g., Informatica) • Experience with payment systems Soft Skills: • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment • Reliable and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
