The Role: Oracle Test Specialist
Location: Remote (with occasional travel to London / Milton Keynes if required)
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Contract Length: Until 31st May 2026 (9 Months)
Security Clearance: SC required

A key Government Department in London is looking for an Oracle Test Specialist to join a high-impact transformation programme. This is a key role supporting the delivery of Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM solutions, with a strong focus on designing and executing high-quality tests across multiple Oracle modules and integration touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design and execute tests across Functional, SIT, and UAT stages
β’ Analyse business and system processes to create test conditions and scripts
β’ Identify inconsistencies or gaps in requirements and recommend changes
β’ Prepare test environments and data
β’ Support defect management through to resolution
β’ Produce test stage reports and contribute to entry/exit criteria definitions
β’ Design tests with future automation in mind

Required Skills:
β’ 3+ yearsβ experience with Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM
β’ Proven experience writing test scripts and working with BDD methodologies
β’ In-depth functional knowledge of several Oracle modules, including:
β’ General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Tax, Procurement, Expenses
β’ Core HR, UK Payroll, Time & Labour, Absence Management
β’ Project Billing/Costing, Compensation, Recruitment, Learning Management
β’ Experience testing PaaS (custom) solutions
β’ Hands-on experience with Jira and X-ray (or equivalent test management tools)
β’ Strong focus on quality and testing standards
β’ Ability to produce accurate, detailed testing collateral
β’ ISEB / ISTQB qualifications (preferred)
β’ Experience with large-scale transformation programmes
β’ Exposure to XML invoicing and host-to-host payment integrations
β’ Familiarity with testing financial systems and payroll interfaces
Deliverables:
β’ Host-to-host payment integration testing
β’ Fixed Assets module implementation testing
β’ XML Invoicing Proof of Concept
β’ Supporting PaaS-based and ERP/HCM-based solution verification
