Role description
Global Process Owner (Order to Cash) – Role Description My client, a leading international manufacturing group, based in Reading, is seeking to hre a Global Process Owner (O2C). This role is responsible for defining and leading the global Order-to-Cash strategy, operating model, governance and transformation agenda across the business. This is a senior finance leadership role focused on driving standardisation, automation, process excellence and working capital performance while ensuring a scalable, best-in-class O2C function. Key Responsibilities • Own the end-to-end global Order-to-Cash process, governance framework and operating model. • Lead the global O2C transformation roadmap, driving standardisation, automation and continuous improvement across all markets. • Improve working capital performance through DSO reduction, cash collection optimisation and revenue protection. • Establish global process standards, controls and KPIs, ensuring compliance and consistent execution. • Act as the design authority for O2C within ERP and finance transformation programmes. • Partner with Finance, Commercial, Technology and Shared Services to align O2C processes with business strategy and growth objectives. • Use data and analytics to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities and drive decision-making. • Influence senior stakeholders globally, embedding best practice and ensuring adoption of new processes and ways of working. • Lead governance, resolve critical process issues and oversee delivery against agreed service levels. Key Requirements • 10+ years' experience in Finance Transformation, Global Process Ownership or Shared Services. • Deep expertise across the end-to-end Order-to-Cash lifecycle within a global organisation. • Proven track record leading large-scale process transformation, ERP implementation and operating model redesign. • Strong knowledge of working capital optimisation, credit, collections, billing and cash application. • Experience driving Lean, Six Sigma and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and control. • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive leadership in a complex, matrix environment. • Professional accounting qualification and ERP experience (NetSuite/Oracle desirable). This role is ideal for a strategic finance leader with strong transformation experience who can modernise global O2C operations, improve cash performance and build a standardised, scalable finance function.
