OT Analyst – 6-Month ContractLocation: Oklahoma City, OK Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH Infinitek is seeking an OT Analyst on behalf of a leading manufacturing company for a 6-month contract in Oklahoma City, OK. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a critical operational technology role supporting industrial data platforms and operational systems. About the Role:The OT Analyst will be responsible for the reliability, performance, and day-to-day support of the PI System stack (PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, and PI Vision). You will focus on PI infrastructure, data ingestion, interface reliability, buffering, and troubleshooting across a diverse set of operational technology source systems. Key Responsibilities: PI System Administration: Maintain and support PI Data Archive, PI AF, and PI Vision for high availability and stable performance. Perform routine health checks, service monitoring, patching, and backup verification. Manage PI system configuration, access, and client tools for site users. Interfaces & Data Ingestion Reliability: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PI data pathways from OPC DA/UA sources, file/SQL-based sources, and vendor-specific gateways. Manage PI buffering and store-and-forward capabilities to prevent data loss. Optimize data collection settings for quality, consistency, and performance. Incident Response & Root Cause Analysis: Serve as the first responder for PI-related production incidents. Investigate and resolve data gaps, interface failures, latency issues, and system instability. Conduct structured root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Maintain and improve operational runbooks, SOPs, and escalation procedures. Plant Collaboration & Enablement: Support onboarding of new data sources and expansion of PI coverage. Partner with Operations and Reliability teams for dashboards, metrics, and visualizations. Provide end-user support for PI Vision/AF access and usage. Qualifications: Associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent hands-on OT experience. 5+ years supporting OT systems and industrial data platforms, with strong experience in: PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Vision PI Interfaces and data ingestion troubleshooting (OPC or similar protocols) Solid Windows Server and networking fundamentals. Experience working in production-critical environments with strong ownership and calm incident handling. Technical Skills: PI Data Archive operations, point management, backups, and performance awareness PI Interfaces: configuration and troubleshooting of mixed source systems PI Buffering: setup, monitoring, and backlog recovery Data quality: diagnosing gaps, jitter, bad values, time drift, and compression/exception behavior OT/IT coordination: working across Controls, IT, and Cybersecurity teams Why Join:This is a hands-on role with a leading manufacturer where you can directly impact operational data reliability and decision-making.
