P2P Analyst
Location: Loveland, Colorado (Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking a functional SAP P2P Analyst with a primary focus on testing and validation. This role is centered on hands-on execution within an SAP S/4HANA environment, ensuring the integrity of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes. The ideal candidate will own the testing lifecycle, from creating scenarios and scripts to troubleshooting transaction failures in collaboration with technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze, document, and support business processes within SAP S/4HANA, specifically related to vendor invoicing.
• Lead and participate in testing efforts, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios, test scripts, and supporting documentation for repetitive testing cycles.
• Troubleshoot and identify reasons for transaction failures (e.g., PO creation, invoicing, IDocs).
• Track transactions through the full SAP workflow to validate end-to-end functionality and identify process gaps or inconsistencies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including a dedicated VIM technical specialist and project coordinator, to ensure accurate execution of the Procure-to-Pay lifecycle.
• Support and help optimize Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) processes through functional execution and testing.
• Utilize SAP query tools to extract, analyze, and validate data in support of project initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst working with SAP S/4HANA (1909 environment preferred).
• Strong, end-to-end SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process knowledge, including Purchase Requisitions, Contracts, Purchase Orders, Inbound Delivery, and Invoicing.
• Heavy testing and validation capability, with demonstrated experience creating, executing, and maintaining test scenarios, scripts, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
• Experience working on large-scale or enterprise-level SAP projects.
Technical Skills:
• Ability to execute transactions end-to-end within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Proficiency with SAP query and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical skills to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and risks in processes and testing.
• Excellent documentation and collaborative communication skills, with the ability to translate between functional and technical language.
Preferred Qualifications
• Basic awareness of EDI and IDoc processing within SAP, including an understanding of partner profiles and workflows.
• Ability to help identify where and why EDI messages fail in collaboration with technical support teams.
