Are you a master of paid search, ready to make a significant impact on high-profile retail campaigns? Weβre seeking a dynamic and results-driven specialist to dive deep into optimizing digital advertising strategies for a globally recognized brand. In this hands-on contract role, you will be instrumental in driving campaign performance, translating data into actionable insights, and directly influencing the success of marketing efforts across multiple retail accounts. Your expertise will directly contribute to maximizing ROI and reaching millions of customers through cutting-edge paid search techniques.
What Youβll Do
β’ Analyze, optimize, and manage paid search campaigns (Search, Shopping, PMax) from the ground up, including keyword research, ad copywriting, and bid strategy.
β’ Monitor daily performance and make optimization recommendations (bids, budgets, negative keywords, ad copy testing, audience targeting).
β’ Help compile weekly/monthly reporting β pull data, provide light analysis, and translate performance into digestible insights.
β’ Suggest A/B tests on ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies.
β’ Manage campaign budgets and pacing across multiple accounts simultaneously.
β’ Support lead strategists with rhythm of business tasks like WBRs/ MBRs/QBRs, post launch analysis, and other business performance.
β’ Stay current on paid search platform updates, betas, and industry best practices.
β’ Assist with Microsoft/Bing Ads as needed (secondary priority).
β’ Ensure tracking/tagging accuracy in partnership with analytics (UTM conventions, conversion tracking, GA4).
Required Experience & Skills
β’ 5+ years of hands-on paid search experience, with agency-side experience preferred (client management, multi-account juggling, and reporting cadence expectations).
β’ Deep, demonstrable expertise in paid search platforms β Search, Shopping, and Performance Max.
β’ Strong Excel/Google Sheets/Numbers skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/ XLOOKUP minimum).
β’ Experience with paid search Editor, Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Tag Manager.
β’ Familiarity with bid management/automation tools.
β’ Comfortable working across multiple country accounts/lines of business concurrently.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing reporting.
β’ Attention to detail with strong organizational and time management / prioritization skills.
β’ Highly motivated with ability to thrive in a fluid, demanding, fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have
β’ Paid social platform experience (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok Ads) for cross-channel campaign support.
β’ Experience with data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau).
β’ Paid Search Certification (current).
β’ Experience in Retail, D2C, and B2C.
β’ Spanish or Portuguese language skills not required but would be advantageous.
Education & Certifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
β’ Paid Search certifications strongly preferred.
β’ Paid Search Search Certification.
