Role description
Job Title Palantir Foundry Engineer Overview We are seeking a Palantir Foundry Engineer to support the development and maintenance of a workload modeling application. This role involves working closely with the Lead AI Engineer to contribute to large language model prompt development, testing data pipelines, and maintaining Foundry Code Workbooks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing well-defined build tasks, running model validation tests, debugging integration issues, and documenting system components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow into independent ownership of application components as the project accelerates toward a demonstration phase. Education Requirements A Bachelor’s Degree is required for this role. Clearance Requirements This role requires an active Secret clearance. Work Arrangement This is a remote position. Responsibilities β€’ Supports the Lead AI Engineer in building and maintaining the workload modeling application across the full stack β€’ Contributes to LLM prompt development, RAG pipeline testing, data ingestion workflows, and Foundry Code Workbook maintenance β€’ Owns discrete, well-scoped build tasks under technical direction β€’ Runs model validation tests and debugs integration issues between application layers β€’ Maintains documentation of system components, assumptions, and known limitations for government deliverables and demo preparation β€’ Grows rapidly into independent ownership of application sub-components as the project progresses toward demo Required Qualifications β€’ 5+ years of experience in AI and data testing, AI observability, and working with Palantir Foundry β€’ Proficiency in Python and large language models β€’ Experience supporting AI development and testing workflows β€’ Ability to debug complex system integrations and maintain technical documentation β€’ Strong collaboration skills to support senior engineers and contribute to project milestones Desired Skills β€’ Experience with AI agents and AI control testing β€’ Knowledge of AI governance frameworks β€’ Familiarity with RAG pipelines and data ingestion workflows β€’ Prior experience working in government or defense-related projects Why Apply Join a dynamic team working on cutting-edge AI and data integration projects with Palantir Foundry.
