Role description
GeBBS Consulting, a leader in Healthcare Technology solutions, has an immediate opening for a Paragon System Support Analyst. This resource will support a major hospital partner in their migration from an older legacy EMR system (Paragon) into Epic by providing support to the Paragon system during the transition. We anticipate the role to be remote friendly, however candidates should be within a reasonable driving distance to New Jersey for on-site meetings or other activities as dictated by project needs.
Position Description:
Program Analysts will play a key role in supporting ongoing operations, ensuring data integrity, and assisting business and clinical teams who continue to rely on Paragon during the transition. These positions will provide both application and reporting support, helping to safeguard patient care and operational workflows throughout the implementation period.
What Youβll Get to Do:
β’ Provide day-to-day application support for the Paragon EMR and related legacy systems, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and user assistance.
β’ Monitor system performance, perform health checks, and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure availability and reliability.
β’ Maintain, enhance, and deliver operational and regulatory reports using legacy reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
β’ Partner with clinical, operational, and revenue cycle teams to address issues, refine workflows, and meet data/reporting needs during the Epic transition.
β’ Document support procedures, issue resolutions, and reporting processes to ensure knowledge transfer.
β’ Collaborate with the Epic implementation team to support data migration, validation, and cross-system reconciliation.
β’ Assist with system access, security updates, and audit requests as required.
β’ Serve as a resource for historical data requests, regulatory reporting, and audits while Paragon remains in use.
Youβll Bring these Qualifications:
β’ 3+ years of experience as an Application Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role supporting EMR or healthcare applications (Paragon experience strongly preferred).
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
β’ Proficiency with SQL as well as data visualization tools such as Crystal Reports, Tableau, PowerBI, or other reporting/analytics tools used within healthcare environments.
β’ Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to triage and resolve application and data/reporting issues quickly.
β’ Understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, or revenue cycle processes.
β’ Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical staff, and leadership.
β’ Strong documentation, communication, and customer service skills.
