PART TIME- IT Data Integrator & Code Problem Solver

We are seeking a part-time, motivated individual with an aptitude for AI-assisted development ("vibe coding"), scripting, and logical problem-solving to join our team at our St. Joseph office. This position acts as an in-house technical developer and integrator. Under the guidance of our senior technology leadership, you will tackle day-to-day coding, automation tasks, and longer-term software projects directly from our office. This is a part-time, 1099 contractor position. This is an in-office role and is NOT remote. You will need reliable transportation to commute to our St. Joseph location. Responsibilities: Utilize AI coding assistants and low-code platforms to rapidly develop, debug, and deploy software solutions, scripts, and automations. Assist in building, testing, and maintaining custom applications and managing code in Git repositories under the direction of senior staff. Automate routine IT and MSP workflows using API integrations and scripting. Configure, test, and troubleshoot modern tech solutions, integrations, and local LLM deployments from our lab/office environment. Track project progress, code iterations, and client issues meticulously in Freshdesk or SyncroMSP. Provide remote technical assistance and troubleshooting to our clients directly from the office. Working in Cursor and various cloud based hosting solutions is a must. Qualifications: Aptitude for AI-assisted coding, prompt engineering, and modern development workflows (experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar is a plus, but strong logical architecture skills are paramount). Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills—you need to be able to read AI-generated code, spot the hallucinations, and guide the tool to the correct solution. Familiarity with basic IT infrastructure, network concepts, and RMM tools. Positive, professional demeanor with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly. Ability to focus, pay close attention to detail, and diligently see development tasks through to completion. Ability to work on-site at our St. Joseph office during business hours and pass a background check if necessary.
