Role description
A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for Pega with Redhat OpenShift Position type: Contract Hybrid: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote Duration: 12 + Months Locations: Jacksonville, FL Main Skills β€’ Pega β€’ Redhat Openshift β€’ Devops β€’ Kubernetes β€’ Jenkins Required Qualifications As a Pega Developer with Openshift, you will: β€’ 5+ years of hands-on Pega development experience (CSA/CSSA preferred). β€’ Strong expertise in deploying and managing Pega on Red Hat OpenShift. β€’ Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets). β€’ Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Ansible, or similar). Pega Development & Solution Delivery β€’ Design, build, and enhance Pega applications following enterprise architecture standards. β€’ Develop workflows, case types, integrations, UI components, and decisioning logic. β€’ Ensure solutions meet Bank of America’s security, compliance, and performance requirements. β€’ Participate in code reviews, solution design sessions, and sprint planning. OpenShift Deployment & Platform Engineering β€’ Deploy, configure, and manage Pega applications on Red Hat OpenShift. β€’ Optimize containerized Pega workloads for performance, scalability, and resilience. β€’ Work closely with APSE platform teams to ensure alignment with CI/CD pipelines, container standards, and cloud governance. β€’ Troubleshoot container, pod, and cluster-level issues impacting Pega services. Integration & API Enablement β€’ Build and maintain integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, Kafka, and internal APIs. β€’ Ensure secure communication and compliance with Bank of America integration patterns. Operational Excellence β€’ Support production deployments, incident resolution, and root cause analysis. β€’ Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for Pega services running on OpenShift. β€’ Contribute to automation of build, deployment, and testing processes. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement β€’ Work closely with APSE engineering, architecture, DevOps, and application teams. β€’ Provide technical guidance and best practices for Pega and OpenShift usage. β€’ Communicate effectively with global teams across time zones.
