Job Title: Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) Developer
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
• Analyze existing Informatica ETL implementation
• Code, execute and validate ETL code including unit testing and end-to-end workflow testing
• Document technical solution and deployment steps in a clear and comprehensive manner
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the migration lifecycle
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Required Skills:
• Proficiency with Pentaho Data Integration (PDI), SOS Job Scheduler, and SQL
• Batch/Unix script
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL solutions in Pentaho
• Ability to interpret and work with complex data models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Quick learner
• English (oral and written skills)
Additional Requested Skills:
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter
• Scripting skills to assist with automation or quality improvements as needed
• Prior experience with ETL migration projects
• Basic familiarity with Windows Server environments
• Skills in workflow performance tuning
• Strong communication skills
