Role description
Job Title: Director of People Analytics Location: Remote Contract: 6 months to start W2 only Our client is looking for someone who’s led people analytics or data engineering teams at the director level and wants to focus on architecture, not headcount. No team to manage. You’ll guide, coach, and shape strategy β€” not run 1:1s. What you’ll work on: β€’ Rebuild the people data stack: consolidate data, remove Tableau dependencies, centralize reporting in Workday and ServiceNow. β€’ Replace patchwork pipelines with something maintainable, scalable, and AI-ready. β€’ Integrate data across HR, engineering, and operations β€” think JIRA, GitHub, onboarding systems. β€’ Set data privacy, governance, and compliance standards before they become problems. β€’ Advise on architecture and future-proofing, not daily operations. Experience/Requirements: β€’ Director-level experience in people analytics, data science, or data engineering. β€’ Strong technical background in data engineering, ML, and architecture. β€’ Familiarity with systems like Workday, ServiceNow, GitHub, JIRA. β€’ Expertise in tools such as Trino, Databricks, Scala, Spark, Hive, Tableau. β€’ Ability to influence, guide, and coach cross-functional stakeholders.
