Job Title: People Analytics Contractor
Location: Austin, TX
Job Type: 1 year contract with the possibility for extension, W2
Schedule: Hybrid
Pay Range: $38-40 per hour
Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
• Support the build and iteration of automated workflows that transform people analytics dashboards into proactive insights and alerts delivered through chat and email
• Assist with Power Automate workflow testing, validation checks, and documentation
• Support Power BI output validation, formatting reviews, reporting QA, and dashboard validation activities
• Execute predefined test cases and clearly document testing results
• Validate analytics outputs against source-of-truth reporting using Power BI and SQL-based data checks
• Track defects, retesting results, and validation outcomes to support quality assurance efforts
• Assist with documentation updates, test coordination, and release support activities
• Support testing and operational monitoring of AI-enabled analytics experiences and automated reporting processes
• Assist with dashboard updates, content validation, routing validation, and user experience testing
• Maintain operational accuracy across analytics assets and reporting resources
• Maintain clear documentation of completed work, open issues, risks, and testing results
• Communicate status updates and blockers within a fast-paced build and testing environment
• Collaborate with team members throughout iterative development and release cycles
Requirements
• Experience working with reporting, analytics, testing, validation, or operational support activities
• Comfortable working with structured data and following defined testing and documentation processes
• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, Power Automate, or related analytics and reporting tools
• Ability to execute structured testing activities and document results accurately
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
