People Analytics / HR Data Analyst

Job Summary: Our client is seeking a People Analytics / HR Data Analyst to join their team! This position is located in St. Louis, Missouri. Duties: • Partner with stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into clear functional requirements • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to interpret results and communicate insights effectively • Design and document technical solutions, including data models, data flows, and reporting specifications • Develop, enhance, and maintain self-service dashboards and reports, primarily Tableau • Test, validate, and document deliverables to ensure accuracy and reliability • Maintain people data quality rules, definitions, and strategy • Apply best-practice compliance and governance standards when working with sensitive HR data Desired Skills/Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Human Resources, Business, or related field • 5+ years in people analytics, HR analytics, or a similar data-focused role • Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in Tableau • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets such as: Snowflake and Oracle • Knowledge of complex data models and dimensional modeling techniques • Experience converting raw system data into analytics-ready datasets using dbt or similar tools • Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders • Ability to manage multiple projects, handle confidential information, and exercise discretion • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience with Python • Experience with UKG/iCIMS Benefits: • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans • Employee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP) • 401K offered The approximate pay range for this position is between $62,000 and $79,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
