

People Data Analyst - FTC

Are you data-driven and ready to make an impact in a global organisation? Join Merlin Entertainments as a People Data Analyst on a 9-month fixed term contract, supporting a major transformation programme within our London-based People team.
In this role, you'll manage and analyse people data, maintain key trackers and work with stakeholders to drive accurate reporting and smarter decision-making.
🧩 What You’ll Be Doing
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define data needs
• Maintaining and improving an Excel tracker
• Acting as the go-to tracker expert
• Creating reports and spotting trends
• Streamlining data processes and reporting
• Identifying and implementing improvements
Qualifications & Experience
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel – comfortable with formulas and organising large data sets.
• Strong stakeholder management skills – able to communicate clearly and work with colleagues across different teams.
• Excellent attention to detail – committed to maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
• Time management and prioritisation – able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Advanced Excel capabilities – such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, or complex formulas.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools.
• Familiarity with data tracking and reporting tools – especially if you've created or managed trackers to support business decisions.
• Background in a people, HR, or transformation environment is a plus but not required.
