People / Human Capital Analytics (SQL, Tableau & Excel) Consultant πŸ“ San Francisco, CA | πŸ’Ό Contract-to-Hire | πŸ’» Hybrid πŸ’² $133.50 per hour About the Role A leading organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (People / Human Capital Analytics Consultant) to transform its HR reporting and analytics function. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain standardized and custom reporting solutions across multiple HR and data platforms. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, advanced technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, post-merger environment. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive data governance, improve reporting accuracy, and deliver actionable insights. Key Responsibilities β€’ Design, configure, and maintain custom HR reporting solutions across HRIS and analytics platforms. β€’ Query and manipulate data using SQL, Tableau, and Excel for advanced reporting and analysis. β€’ Collaborate with technical teams to develop next-gen data visualization tools. β€’ Proactively improve data governance and ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency. β€’ Support reporting and analytics needs during organizational change and integration. β€’ Translate complex data into clear insights and executive-level reporting. β€’ Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with standards. Qualifications β€’ 7+ years of advanced analytics experience with a focus on reporting and impact delivery, ideally in People Analytics or financial services. β€’ Proven hands-on SQL experience with strong query development skills. β€’ Advanced proficiency in Tableau and Excel (including pivot tables, macros, and advanced formulas). β€’ Degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or Mathematics (preferred). β€’ Familiarity with Workday, Greenhouse, ADP, Snowflake, or similar platforms. β€’ Strong BI development experience with Tableau or Power BI. β€’ Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. β€’ Ability to thrive in a hybrid San Francisco environment.
