Performance Analyst | £300 - £350
We're working with a leading public sector specialist consultancy dedicated to transforming children's services and educational outcomes through data-led insights on this exciting opportunity.
Step into a high-impact role where your expertise in data manipulation and visualization will directly influence Social Care, Education, and Youth Justice services. We need a sharp-eyed analyst who can bridge the gap between complex case management datasets and actionable management information using PowerBI and advanced Excel techniques.
The Role
• Lead the extraction and analysis of sensitive datasets from core systems like Mosaic, Core+, and Synergy to drive statutory returns and departmental reporting.
• Design and deploy intuitive data visualizations in PowerBI to make performance metrics accessible to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Take ownership of data quality initiatives, identifying gaps in case management systems and implementing cleansing protocols to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate the production of vital management information reports for Education and Youth Justice services, ensuring all deadlines for statutory submissions are met.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to translate departmental needs into technical reporting requirements while maintaining strict data security standards.
What You'll Need
• Advanced technical proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling) and hands-on expertise with PowerBI for data visualization.
• Proven experience handling statutory returns and performance reporting within a Social Care, Education, or Youth Justice environment.
• Direct experience utilizing specialist case management software such as Mosaic, Core+, or Synergy.
• Solid understanding of Data Protection Law, GDPR, Freedom of Information, and Caldecott Guidance to handle sensitive person-level data.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex data trends to non-technical stakeholders and partner agencies.
