Role description
Position Summary Seeking qualified candidates to support a large-scale NextGen transformation project within a Performance Measurement, Analytics, and Reporting environment. This role will support day-to-day business operations while contributing to ongoing strategic initiatives involving investment data analysis, reporting automation, and process improvement. This position may be fully remote, though candidates located near the Houston area may have the opportunity to work onsite with the team. Key Responsibilities • Calculate, review, and validate performance data to ensure accuracy and timely delivery • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies by collaborating with internal stakeholders and support teams • Maintain systems and databases while ensuring compliance with departmental procedures and data integrity standards • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and process issues • Assist with the construction and maintenance of investment composites in accordance with industry standards • Develop and automate recurring and ad-hoc reporting processes, dashboards, and analytics solutions • Partner with clients and internal teams to research and resolve reporting and data-related inquiries • Support special projects and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives • Create technical enhancements and automation solutions using SQL, VBA, and other analytical tools • Work with data infrastructure and technology teams to troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues Required Experience & Qualifications • Experience analyzing large volumes of complex data from multiple sources • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Experience with SQL and data analysis tools • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Comfortable working independently and within a collaborative team environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau • Exposure to tools such as Alteryx, Python, SAS, or R • Experience working alongside IT or engineering teams on data repositories and pipelines • Background supporting reporting, analytics, investment operations, or financial data environments Work Environment • Hybrid/remote flexibility available • Collaborative, fast-paced analytics environment • Opportunity to contribute to strategic transformation initiatives and process automation efforts
