Performance Analyst (Investment Analytics / Data Analytics) Location: Houston, TX 77046 Work Arrangement: Hybrid (onsite collaboration flexibility) Duration: Contract (aligned to Alpha NextGen project; extension possible) Job Summary We are seeking a Performance Analyst to support the Performance Measurement, Analytics, and Reporting (PMAR) team. This role focuses on analyzing investment performance data, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering insights to key stakeholders across portfolio management, marketing, compliance, and investment teams. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in working with large, complex datasets, with a strong ability to automate and optimize reporting processes. Key Responsibilities • Calculate, review, and validate investment performance data to ensure accuracy and timeliness • Investigate and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with internal stakeholders • Maintain and monitor data systems and databases to ensure integrity and compliance • Analyze large datasets using statistical tools to identify trends, anomalies, and insights • Support construction and maintenance of investment composites in compliance with GIPS standards • Automate recurring and ad-hoc reporting through dashboards and scalable reporting solutions • Develop data solutions using SQL, VBA, or other technical tools • Partner with internal teams and clients to research and resolve performance-related inquiries • Support process improvements, operational efficiencies, and strategic initiatives • Assist in resolving data infrastructure and pipeline issues in collaboration with IT teams Required Qualifications • Experience analyzing large and complex datasets • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently in a hybrid team environment Preferred Qualifications • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) • Familiarity with data tools such as SQL, Python, Alteryx, SAS, or R • Experience working with data pipelines or collaborating with IT/data engineering teams • Knowledge of Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)
