Performance Analyst - Hybrid - 3 Month Contract

About The Role
Weβre looking for a skilled and proactive Performance Analyst to join our Digital Services team. Youβll play a key role in delivering data-driven insights that improve service performance, enhance user experience, and support strategic decision-making. This is a hands-on role where youβll collaborate with developers, designers, and researchers to shape digital services that meet user needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead the development and analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for digital services.
β’ Use SQL and other tools to extract, interpret, and present meaningful insights.
β’ Build and maintain Performance Frameworks across the Agile lifecycle.
β’ Ensure data accuracy, quality, and relevance in all analysis.
β’ Collaborate with developers to implement audit tracking and resolve live service issues.
β’ Apply statistical techniques to assess the impact of service iterations.
β’ Support user-centred design by embedding data into product decision-making.
β’ Deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to improve services.
β’ Create engaging data visualisations using tools like Power BI, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Excel/Google Sheets.
β’ Analyse user behaviour to drive customer-centric improvements.
β’ Communicate data stories to stakeholders to inform design and development.
β’ Ensure services meet performance standards set out in the Service Standard.
β’ Actively contribute to the Performance Analyst community, sharing best practices and innovations.
What Weβre Looking For
β’ Proven experience in performance analysis or a similar data-driven role.
β’ Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with:
β’ Power BI
β’ Splunk
β’ Google Analytics
β’ Google Tag Manager
β’ Looker Studio
β’ Strong understanding of both qualitative and quantitative data sources.
β’ Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
β’ Experience working in Agile teams and with User-Centred Design (UCD) approaches.
β’ Minimum capability at SFIA Level 4.
