Business Performance Analyst – Network Operations & Intelligence Business Unit: Electricity Transmission Department: Network Operations & Intelligence Location: Warwick Office (Hybrid working model) About the Role: Aligned with the Electricity Transmission (ET) Performance strategy, the Business Performance Analyst for Network Operations & Intelligence will play a key role in supporting the department’s performance transition in preparation for RIIO-T3 regulatory requirements. This role goes beyond reporting data — it involves underpinning and contributing to the performance strategy by analysing and optimising key metrics that drive business success. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop insightful performance reporting and support the delivery of a strategic performance contract for Network Operations & Intelligence. Your analysis will help ensure that performance data is translated into actionable insights that influence decisions and continuous improvement across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: • Support the performance transition aligned with Electricity Transmission’s strategic goals for RIIO-T3 by providing robust analysis and insight. • Collaborate with senior leadership to optimise and refine key performance metrics, ensuring they reflect business priorities and support improvement initiatives. • Build and maintain strong working relationships across the Network Operations & Intelligence Senior Leadership Team and wider department. • Develop a thorough understanding of Network Operations & Intelligence and wider Electricity Transmission business performance metrics and drivers. • Assist in the development of a 5-year performance contract aligned with regulatory requirements for Network Operations & Intelligence. • Analyse performance data with both in-year and future-year perspectives, identifying opportunities for optimisation rather than solely reporting outcomes. • Support the monthly performance cycle for Network Operations & Intelligence, including preparation of reports and presentation materials for leadership meetings. • Present complex information clearly and dynamically to support executive decision-making and connect operational delivery with broader performance impacts. • Help identify risks and opportunities, supporting clear action plans with accountable owners and deadlines. • Contribute to the transformation of Network Operations & Intelligence performance reporting from static management information to dynamic, insightful business intelligence. • Support compliance management for Network Operations & Intelligence, embedding it into daily operations. What You’ll Bring: • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage and influence senior leaders. • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Experience as a Power BI developer with a portfolio showcasing dashboards, reports, and custom DAX functions. • Strong report writing and data presentation skills, with the ability to deliver insights that drive action and improvement. Desirable: • Knowledge of Six Sigma / LEAN methodologies and DMAIC framework. • Experience in capital and asset-intensive industries, preferably energy or regulated sectors. • Understanding of commercial and regulatory challenges relevant to the Electricity Transmission sector. • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, SQL querying, Power Apps, Power Platform, and data modelling.
