Job Title: Performance Marketing Analyst
Location: Strongly preferred in New York, NY; Bridgewater, NJ; or Cary, NC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid preferred (typically 3 days/week onsite). Open to remote candidates.
About the Role
The Performance Marketing Analyst will be a key member of the Global Brand & Marketing – Performance Marketing Analytics team. This role supports program governance and performance measurement as the organization advances its marketing automation strategy using a customer data platform.
You will partner closely with Product Owners, Sales, Digital Design, and Channel Marketing teams to influence data-driven decision making, optimize marketing experiments, and deliver insights tied to business OKRs. This is an opportunity to shape data strategy, audience segmentation, and analytics supporting growth and engagement marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Data Leadership & Strategy
• Serve as the Data Lead for an assigned Line of Business, partnering with Product, Marketing Ops, Sales, Technology, and Growth/Engagement teams.
• Provide strategic guidance on measurement best practices, KPIs, and data-driven decision frameworks.
• Identify, validate, and integrate data sources across the organization to drive actionable insights.
• Evangelize a cross-team culture of data-backed optimization and continuous improvement.
Audience Strategy & Segmentation
• Define, develop, and refine target audiences in partnership with Customer Insights.
• Establish segmentation data requirements across the MarTech ecosystem.
• Work with Marketing Data Engineering to create connections between critical business data and the Marketing Data Environment.
• Identify high-performing customer segments based on lead source and behavioral indicators.
Experimentation & Measurement
• Collaborate with Product Owners and the Test & Activation Lead to size potential test value, define hypotheses, and build test measurement frameworks.
• Evaluate experiment outcomes, generate insights, and recommend optimizations aligned to business objectives.
• Support the development of learning agendas and robust A/B/MVT testing strategies.
Reporting, Analytics & Insights
• Deliver end-to-end marketing data support for campaigns, performance tracking, reporting, and dashboard creation.
• Simplify complex data into clear, compelling insights for stakeholders at all levels.
• Analyze multi-channel campaign performance across paid media, email, web, social, SEO, etc.
• Support workstreams such as lead scoring model enhancements, agent enablement, and funnel optimization.
Required Qualifications
• 1–3 years of experience in marketing.
• 3–5 years of experience in data acquisition and data analysis.
• 3–5 years of experience in digital, product, or finance environments.
• Strong understanding of multi-channel digital campaigns (paid media, SEO, web, email, social).
• 1–3 years of experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
• 1–3 years of experience with Power BI and data visualization.
• Advanced Excel skills; strong PowerPoint presentation capabilities.
• Proven ability to improve customer journeys and acquisition funnels.
• Strong grasp of analytics, marketing metrics, statistical principles, and financial metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a consultative approach.
• Strong project management abilities with a commitment to timelines and process discipline.
• Effective multi-tasking, ownership mindset, and ability to thrive in matrixed organizations.
• Adobe Analytics experience.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake and big data platforms.
• Experience with MySQL, SQL Server, R, SAS, Python, or statistical modeling (segmentation, regression, CLV).
• Experience with Alteryx or similar data automation tools.
• Familiarity with attitudinal/social media measurement tools (e.g., Medallia, Sprinklr).
• Experience with web analytics/testing tools: Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Customer Journey Analytics, Google Analytics.
• Experience with ad servers: Google Ad Manager, OpenX.
