Role description

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a fully remote PICK Software Engineer to join their team. Responsibilities:

   • The PICK Software Engineer will develop, test, implement, and maintain application software using PICK/UniData

   • Design, implement, and maintain systems within all phases of the software development lifecycle

   • Perform reviews, analysis, and modifications of programming systems, including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs

   • Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain features with minimal direction and supervision

   • Ensure the software meets performance, reliability, and security standards

   • As a PICK Software Engineer, you will provide support and mentorship to junior software engineers

Requirements

   • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

   • 4+ years of hands-on experience with PICK/UniData, UniBASIC, and UniQuery

   • Strong understanding of ERP/WMS systems and existing business processes

   • Proficiency in procedural programming and experience with JSON, REST APIs, and asynchronous programming

   • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
