Title: Platform Lead - Zafin Location: Remote - Charlotte NC Duration:Initial 1 Year contract with extensions Compensation: $75-90/HR W2 Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders PRODUCT & INTEGRATION LEAD - PLATFORM MODERNIZATION About the Program A large U.S. financial institution is executing a multi-year modernization initiative centered around the Zafin platform, focused on transforming how banking products, pricing, offers, and disclosures are managed across the enterprise. This role sits at the core of the Build phase, where foundational platform capabilities are being stabilized, redesigned, and scaled for long-term growth. The environment is highly complex, highly visible, and deeply integrated into consumer and small business banking operations. This is not a single-module support role. The person in this seat will operate across multiple Zafin workstreams simultaneously, helping shape the underlying platform architecture and data foundation the broader program depends on. What You'll Do • Lead functional configuration and implementation activities across multiple Zafin modules, including Product Catalog, Rate Management, Offers, and Disclosures • Own and support data ingestion workflows between core banking systems and the Zafin platform, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and traceability • Partner with business, product, and technology stakeholders to define scalable configuration strategies across multiple modernization workstreams • Document current-state processes, future-state platform design decisions, and cross-functional gap analysis • Drive requirements gathering, user story creation, backlog refinement, and acceptance criteria within an Agile delivery environment • Support API and integration design discussions tied to pricing feeds, product structures, customer disclosures, and downstream platform dependencies • Identify cross-module dependencies, configuration conflicts, and data quality risks before production deployment • Participate in sprint planning, UAT coordination, and release readiness activities across the modernization program • Contribute to operational documentation and knowledge transfer efforts to support long-term sustainability of the platform What We're Looking For • Hands-on experience configuring multiple Zafin modules, including Product Catalog, Rate Management, Offers, and/or Disclosures • Experience supporting data ingestion and transformation workflows between core banking systems and Zafin • Strong understanding of how pricing structures, product hierarchies, and compliance disclosures flow through enterprise banking platforms • Experience operating as a Business Analyst, Functional Lead, Platform Lead, or Functional Architect within large-scale banking transformation programs • Familiarity with API-driven integrations, REST services, event-driven architecture, and tools such as Swagger or Postman • Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams while maintaining strong configuration discipline and attention to detail • Experience with data mapping, ETL alignment, reconciliation, and cross-system validation within regulated environments • Financial services experience required; enterprise banking transformation experience strongly preferred Nice to Have • Experience with additional Zafin modules such as Rewards • Background supporting consumer banking or small business banking product and pricing strategies • Exposure to large-scale banking modernization or post-merger platform transformation initiatives • SQL experience supporting data validation, reconciliation, and platform analysis • Interest in long-term growth opportunities tied to future program phases Why This Role This role sits directly inside the foundation layer of a major enterprise modernization effort.
