Role description
RL Enterprise Recruiting & Staffing is seeking an experienced M365 GCC High Power Platform Specialist for a contract assignment with our client in South Carolina.
Location: In-office position Aiken or Greenville, South Carolina
Contract Details
• Duration: TBD (long-term contract opportunity)
• Employment Type: Contract
• Clearance Required: All candidates must be U.S. citizens. Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. Client is a government contractor.
The Role
We're looking for a skilled Power Platform developer to architect, build, and implement collaboration solutions within a Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC) High environment. You'll be transforming legacy workflows into modern automated solutions while ensuring compliance with government security standards.
This is a hands-on technical role where you'll design and develop enterprise-level business applications using PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI, and other Microsoft 365 tools in a highly regulated environment.
Core Responsibilities
• Design and develop automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes
• Build custom business applications with PowerApps and Power Pages
• Migrate legacy SharePoint Designer and SharePoint 2016 workflows to modern Power Automate flows
• Create data visualizations and reports using PowerBI
• Manage solutions within Dataverse and SharePoint Online
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and align solutions with organizational goals
• Ensure all solutions comply with NIST 800-171 and government security standards
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development work
• Provide application support and participate in change/release management processes
Required Qualifications
Experience & Education
• Bachelor's degree + 5 years of relevant experience, OR
• 9 years of directly related experience (non-degreed)
Technical Requirements
• Proven experience with Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant environments
• Strong expertise in Power Automate workflow development
• Proficiency with PowerApps, PowerBI, and Dataverse
• Experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Subscription Service
• Demonstrated success migrating legacy SharePoint workflows to modern Power Automate
• Working knowledge of JSON and diverse data types in workflow development
• Understanding of government compliance and data security requirements
• Familiarity with NIST 800-171 risk compliance standards
Critical Requirements
• U.S. Citizenship required (non-negotiable for GCC High access)
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in time-sensitive environments
Preferred Qualifications
• CMMC framework knowledge
• Experience with data and document management control workflows
• Background in engineering or construction industry workflow processes
• Experience with change management and incident ticketing systems
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments (on-premises, Azure, O365)
• Previous work in highly regulated or government contractor environments
