About the Role
We are looking for an 10 years experienced PLM Business Analyst to support business and functional process analysis, requirement gathering, and validation activities across Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) implementations. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and QA to ensure system functionality aligns with business objectives and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Analyze and document business and functional requirements for PLM systems.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to define system features, workflows, and integration requirements.
β’ Work closely with development and testing teams to ensure accurate translation of requirements into technical specifications and test cases.
β’ Develop and maintain functional specifications, process flows, and use cases for PLM enhancements or new implementations.
β’ Conduct gap analysis, feasibility assessments, and identify improvement opportunities.
β’ Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), assist in validation of business scenarios, and ensure requirements traceability.
β’ Document and communicate test outcomes, issues, and resolution status to business and technical teams.
β’ Drive process improvement and standardization across PLM-related functions.
β’ Ensure compliance with organizational quality assurance standards and project methodologies.
Required Qualifications and Skills
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
β’ Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, with significant exposure to PLM projects.
β’ In-depth understanding of PLM concepts such as BOM management, Change Management, and Product Configuration.
β’ Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and testing practices.
β’ Proficiency in requirements management and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Confluence).
β’ Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ ISTQB, CBAP, or other relevant certifications.
β’ Hands-on experience with Teamcenter PLM or similar tools (Windchill, Enovia, Agile PLM).
β’ Exposure to automated testing tools like Selenium or QTP.
β’ Familiarity with integration of PLM systems with ERP or CAD platforms (e.g., SAP, NX, Creo).
