Role description
Overview We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in system architecture, data management, and SolidWorks PDM administration. This role requires deep expertise in file‑based security, system‑level configuration, API development, and the ability to support complex engineering environments. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem‑solver who excels in designing secure, high‑performance PDM ecosystems and supporting enterprise‑level hardware and software infrastructures. Key Responsibilities System Architecture & Data Management • Design, implement, and maintain robust system architectures supporting engineering workflows. • Oversee data management strategies, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability across production environments. • Ensure strict adherence to intellectual property protection, file-based security controls, and export compliance guidelines. PDM Administration & Integration • Administer SolidWorks PDM and SolidWorks PDM Professional environments, including configuration, workflows, permissions, and vault maintenance. • Develop custom tools, add‑ins, and automations using C#, APIs, and scripting languages. • Support SolidWorks integrations and ensure seamless connectivity with upstream/downstream systems. • Work with cross-functional teams on PDM–SAP workflow interactions and automation. Server, Infrastructure & Network Support • Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 and Windows Server operating systems. • Manage SQL Server installations, backups, performance tuning, and security configurations. • Deploy and maintain virtual servers and virtualized Windows environments, including print servers and license servers. • Configure and manage Active Directory, IP addressing, VLANs, and general network infrastructure as needed. Hardware Planning & Backup Strategy • Specify and design server hardware for production and backup environments. • Recommend and validate high‑performance workstation configurations for engineering users. • Design and implement backup strategies, ensuring data integrity and continuity across environments. Required Skills • SolidWorks PDM / SolidWorks PDM Professional • System Architecture • Data Management • C# and API programming • Windows Server, Active Directory • SQL Server administration • Networking (IP configuration, VLANs) • Virtual machine configuration • File‑based and system‑level security management Additional Qualifications • Experience developing custom PDM add‑ins, tools, and automations using C# and the SolidWorks PDM API. • Ability to install and configure enterprise server environments, including virtualization and backup systems. • Strong understanding of system‑level security, including access control, permissions, and compliance requirements. • Experience supporting engineering workflows, system integrations, and multi‑site environments. Experience Level Intermediate (3–7 years of relevant experience) Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Duncan, OK. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
