Power BI Reports Analyst - 6+ months project - Los Angeles (Burbank), CA. Title: Power BI Reports Analyst Location: Los Angeles (Burbank), CA Duration: 6+ months long term project Compensation: $45-49.00/hr. Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Description/Comment: The Enterprise Sourcing & Procurement function has been established to support the business Segments Sourcing and Procurement requirements. The Enterprise Sourcing team is responsible for developing and executing global, regional and local category management strategies and provides commercial support and insights to the numerous stakeholders across the various Disney businesses. We are looking for a Power BI Reports Analyst/Developer who can design, build, and maintain high quality dashboards that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. This role requires strong expertise in Power BI, advanced DAX expressions, and hands on experience working with Snowflake as a data source. This role is for a contract for 6 months. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning the full reporting lifecycle, from data modeling through visualization, and partnering closely with business stakeholders to ensure metrics are accurate, performant, and aligned to business needs. Basic Qualification: • Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards that support operational and financial decision making • Build and optimize semantic models in Power BI, including relationships, measures, and calculated columns • Write and maintain advanced DAX expressions (e.g., time intelligence, conditional logic, custom aggregations) to support complex business logic • Connect Power BI to Snowflake data sources and collaborate with data teams to ensure efficient, reliable data access • Ensure data accuracy, performance, and usability through testing and ongoing refinement • Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear reporting solutions • Follow governance and security standards for data access, sharing, and certification within Power BI workspaces • University degree or equivalent work experience. • 2 to 5 years' experience in Finance, Reporting or Business Analytics.
