Role Description:
We are looking for a PL/SQL Developer with strong experience in Oracle databases, Unix scripting, and SQL
performance tuning to support critical data processing and integration workflows for the wealth management
client. The role involves developing and optimizing PL/SQL procedures, managing database jobs, and collaborating
across teams to ensure operational stability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, triggers, and packages within Oracle databases.
• Work with Unix shell scripts for automation, data transfers, and job scheduling.
• Configure and manage DBMS Scheduler for scheduling and monitoring PL/SQL jobs.
• Collaborate with business, QA, and DevOps teams to support releases and troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development and deployment best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and database development.
• Proficiency in SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience using Toad, SQL Workbench, and DBeaver for database development and analysis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control for automated deployment workflows.
• Experience working with Unix/Linux shell scripting for job automation and data processing.
• Solid understanding of data migration, exception handling, and database performance best practices.
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging SQL and PL/SQL scripts.
