The ideal candidate for this role has the skills to do development, solution design, deep data analysis and possesses a strong functional knowledge of regulatory reporting topics. Technically the candidate should be able to develop on PL/SQL. Functionally the candidate should be able to synthesize user requirements, perform solution design, development and data validation for regulatory reporting topics (e.g. FR 2052A, FRY-15, etc). Responsibilities and Qualifications: · Strong knowledge of relational databases like Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL server. · Oracle Data warehouse and DataMart development using Oracle PL/SQL and Unix. --Developing PL/SQL packages, procedures, Functions, Cursors. · Releasing/packaging code into production. · Full understanding of SDLC life cycle. · Expert knowledge developing and implementing technology solutions for regulatory reporting with expertise related to the FR 2052a report. · Ability to create and implement solution designs to achieve business requirements · Ability to analyze, problem solve and summarize functional subjects · Ability to perform data validation of regulatory reports · Self-sufficient and pro-active in sourcing information · Ability to work independently and has excellent troubleshooting skills. · Strong organizational and communication skills. · 10+ years’ experience as a Developer/Analyst in a Financial Institution working on regulatory reporting topics · Must have experience developing in PL/SQL and analyzing code · Must have experience working within the regulatory reporting domain · Must have experience liaising with end-users and technical teams · Must have experience in functional testing and data validation · Experience working with Axiom software is highly preferred
