Job Title: Population Health Data Engineer (Epic & Healthcare Analytics)
Location: Boston, MA
Position: Hybrid (25% Onsite, 75% Remote)
Travel: Quarterly + Go-Live
Duration: Long Term
Summary
Seeking experienced Data Engineers with strong Epic and healthcare analytics expertise to build and optimize data pipelines and models supporting population health, claims analytics, and value-based care.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop scalable data pipelines and ELT workflows
• Work with Epic data (Registries, Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle)
• Integrate clinical & claims data for analytics
• Build models for risk, quality, and utilization (MARA, HCC, RAF)
• Process medical & pharmacy claims data
• Use Snowflake, DBT, and MedInsight
• Ensure data quality, performance, and HIPAA compliance
Requirements
• 6+ years in data engineering (healthcare preferred)
• Strong SQL & data modeling skills
• Experience with Epic systems and claims data
• Hands-on with Snowflake & DBT
• Knowledge of population health & value-based care
