Population Health Informaticist (AI Training) About The Role We're partnering with the world's leading AI research teams to build smarter, more accurate health intelligence systems — and we need population health experts to make it happen. As a Population Health Informaticist, you'll apply your expertise in health data, analytics, and public health strategy to evaluate and improve AI models that work with population-level information. Your domain knowledge will directly shape how AI understands health trends, disparities, and outcomes across communities. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role — work on your schedule, on projects that matter. • Organization: Alignerr • Type: Hourly Contract • Location: Remote • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do • Evaluate AI-generated population health content, analysis, and insights for accuracy, completeness, and real-world applicability • Review and assess data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting frameworks modeled by AI for quality and soundness • Identify gaps, errors, or misleading interpretations in AI outputs related to population health metrics and surveillance • Provide structured expert feedback that helps AI systems better understand health disparities, community-level trends, and intervention strategies • Translate your domain knowledge into clear, actionable evaluations that improve AI model performance in public health contexts Who You Are • Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets • Strong analytical thinker with the ability to evaluate data quality, methodology, and interpretation • Skilled in data visualization and reporting — familiar with dashboards and analytics tools • Able to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on asynchronous tasks • No prior AI or machine learning experience required Nice to Have • Experience with epidemiology, health equity research, or community health programs • Background in data annotation, quality assurance, or evaluation systems • Familiarity with public health surveillance frameworks or clinical data standards (e.g., ICD codes, HL7, FHIR) Why Join Us • Work on meaningful AI projects with real public health implications • Fully remote and async — work when and where it suits you • Collaborate with a global network of experts and researchers • Leverage your existing expertise in a high-impact, cutting-edge field • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
