Role description
Job Title: POS INTEGRATIONS ANALYST
Duration:6 months to start, likely renewal if things go well.
Schedule:8 AM to 5PMβish
Target Pay Rate: $60
Must Haves:
β’ Strong experience in Hospitality or Retail Point of Sale integrations (Simphony a plus but not required).
β’ Must have great (technical) problem-solving skills, ability to quickly adapt.
β’ Understanding and ability to read and follow various scripts and debug files, batch, wireshark, complex log files.
β’ 3 years+ working experience supporting POS hardware/software
β’ 2 years+ working experience consulting with cross-functional teams
Nice To Haves:
β’ Experience or some kind of familiarity with leveraging/managing AI tools. This role will heavily utilize AI tools like CoPilot
β’ API familiarity - REST, RPC, JSON, and SOAP
β’ Knowledge/experience with Micros Simphony Point of Sale
Role Requirements/Descriptions:
β’ 3 years+ working experience supporting POS hardware/software
β’ 2 years+ working experience consulting with cross-functional teams
β’ Strong experience in Hospitality or Retail Point of Sale.
β’ Understand industry standard configuration methods, XML, INI, Windows Registry, etc.
β’ Reviewing debug logs, datasets, and working with vendors to isolate root cause and address a fix as needed.
β’ Must have great (technical) problem-solving skills, ability to quickly adapt.
β’ Ability to quickly acknowledge and take ownership of an issue.
β’ Work as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams.
β’ Self-starter, ability to perceive and carry out next steps without direction.
β’ Experience with large scale implementation of applications, infrastructure or databases related to restaurant operations and associated technologies.
β’ Exceptional organization, communication skills, and attention to detail.
β’ This role may occasionally be responsible for assisting in configuring, deploying, supporting, and improving our Point-of-Sale solution and hardware for Dunkin and Baskin-Robbins brands.
β’ The role may occasionally collaborate and partner with non-traditional business partners on experimental revenue growth.
β’ Partner with cross-functional teams to help ensure stability across the estate and support timely resolution of escalations especially during integration pilot phases.
β’ Plans effectively yet can adapt to priority changes.
β’ Collaborate with team and vendors to test, identify, and manage issues.
β’ Respond promptly to others to ensure open and timely communication.
β’ Communicate all issues, status updates, action items, and risks to the management team.
β’ Support technical efforts with vendors and product teams to complete and enhance integrations.
β’ Assist with technical team documentation, ensuring processes and work arounds are updated and new solutions properly documented, and the knowledge base updated.
β’ Strong knowledge of application/integration testing, performance monitoring and testing strategies in order to effectively communicate with QA teams.
β’ Experience or familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies is a plus, as it can support process improvements, troubleshooting efficiency, documentation, and overall operational effectiveness.
Nice to have:
β’ Ability to understand and troubleshoot Point of Sale functionality related to both hardware and software.
β’ Some level of agentic AI experience, ideally but not limited to CoPilot.
β’ QSR Technology, Kitchen Display Systems.

β’ Practical experience writing detailed and concise technical documentation and specifications.
