About the Role
A leading investment management firm is launching a greenfield ESG data platform and seeking a PostgreSQL-focused Data Engineer to build core database and data services infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect and manage PostgreSQL with emphasis on logical & streaming replication, clustering, and performance tuning.
• Design and optimize Snowflake data pipelines for scalable ESG and investment reporting.
• Build and maintain Python API microservices to connect databases with front-office applications.
• Integrate ClickHouse or similar real-time databases for fast analytics.
Requirements
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL (replication, optimization, HA).
• Strong experience with Snowflake (warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines).
• Solid Python development skills (microservices, APIs).
• Familiarity with ClickHouse a plus.
• Background in financial services or investment data preferred.
