PostHog & Database Solutions Architect

We are looking for a technical architect who loves data as much as they love storytelling. In this role, you will be the primary bridge between complex data stacks and our clients' success. You will take ownership of PostHog implementations, build seamless data workflows, and act as the "face" of our strategy through high-quality video content. We don’t just want someone who can just "do the work." We want someone who can talk about technical topics with casual grandeur—making the complex feel simple and the sophisticated feel effortless. You won't be stuck in a ticket queue or buried in a codebase all day. You will be at the forefront of client strategy, building the systems that power their growth and creating the educational content that defines our brand's voice. Apply Here: https://tally.so/r/kdGgQZ Your Core Responsibilities PostHog Mastery: Lead the end-to-end technical implementation of PostHog for our clients. This includes event tracking strategy, property mapping, feature flags, and ensuring data integrity. The Modern Data Stack: You might have to talk through with customers the basics of SQL, React, S3, or other dev related resources. You wont be required to "Master" these but you need to know enough to quickly prep for a call about exactly what a client needs to do. Customer Success & Strategy: Partner with clients to understand their business goals and translate them into technical requirements. You are their trusted advisor. Content Creation: Record engaging, high-fidelity videos (Loom, Descript, or similar) that explain how to blend PostHog strategy with technical execution. You’ll be teaching clients how to think about their data, not just where to click. Examples On YouTube Fluid Problem Solving: While we have a core stack, you are comfortable pivoting to new low-code or code-based tools as client needs evolve. The Ideal ProfileThe Technical "Swiss Army Knife": You are deeply comfortable with code & aren't afraid to dive into SQL, APIs, or snippets of code when the situation calls for it.PostHog Enthusiast: You understand that PostHog is more than a tool—it’s a product-led growth engine. You know how to leverage its full suite (Heatmaps, Session Replay, Experiments, FeatureFlags). Casual Excellence: You possess a natural charisma. You can sit on a Zoom call or a recorded video and speak with authority and "casual grandeur." You don’t hide behind jargon; you use it to empower the listener. Technical Stack Product Analytics: PostHog (Expert level preferred). Data Movement: Airbyte or similar ETL/ELT tools. Data Warehousing: Google BigQuery (SQL proficiency is a plus). Visualization: Looker Studio + PostHog Automation: n8n or Google Communication: Video + Slack and excellent written English.
