Description
We are looking for a skilled Power Apps Developer to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio, on a Contract to permanent basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to design, implement, and maintain low-code applications and automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. The role involves collaborating with IT leadership, departmental users, and external vendors to deliver innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop Power Apps, including both Canvas and Model-Driven applications, to automate workflows and improve efficiency.
Create and maintain Power Automate workflows that optimize manual processes and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
Build Dataverse-based applications while ensuring compatibility with Office 365 and Dynamics 365 environments.
Develop and integrate APIs across various applications to expand the functionality of Power Platform solutions.
Collaborate with IT leadership and external partners to establish a Power Platform Center of Excellence, focusing on governance and user education.
Standardize internal processes by creating request forms and access forms that improve service delivery.
Provide guidance to end-users and gather requirements to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Ensure all applications meet organizational standards for security, efficiency, and reliability.
Stay up-to-date with Microsoft technologies and recommend the adoption of tools like Copilot and Azure AI when appropriate.
Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and documentation that strengthen governance and quality assurance within the Power Platform.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate.
Proficiency in building applications using Dataverse and integrating them with Office 365 and Dynamics 365.
Solid understanding of APIs, data modeling, and application integrations.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver business-focused solutions.
Familiarity with implementing governance structures and user education within the Power Platform environment.
Preferred qualifications include Microsoft certifications such as PL-400: Power Platform Developer and experience with Azure AI services.
Previous experience supporting municipal or public sector organizations is a plus.
