Role description
Power Platform Analyst (Power BI / Power Automate / Power Apps) Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Analyst to design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end reporting, automation, and low‑code solutions using Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps. This role will partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable dashboards, automated workflows, and data‑driven solutions that improve visibility, efficiency, and decision‑making. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, analytically strong, and comfortable owning solutions from initial design through ongoing support and optimization. Key Responsibilities Power BI & Analytics • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI • Develop optimized DAX calculations and measures to support complex business logic • Model, transform, and validate data using Power Query (M) and semantic models • Ensure data accuracy, performance, security, and usability across reports • Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting standards • Manage report publishing, workspace organization, access, and refresh schedules Power Automate • Design and maintain Power Automate flows to streamline business processes and data movement • Automate approvals, notifications, data updates, and system integrations • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing flows for reliability and performance • Apply best practices for error handling, governance, and scalability Power Apps • Build and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model‑Driven) to support data capture, workflow execution, and user interaction • Integrate Power Apps with Power BI, SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, and other data sources • Enhance user experience through intuitive design and performance optimization Solution Ownership & Maintenance • Own the full lifecycle of Power Platform solutions (design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance) • Support enhancements and refinements based on evolving business needs • Document solutions, logic, and governance standards • Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and data governance requirements Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills • Strong experience with Power BI, including: • Dashboard/report development • Advanced DAX queries • Data modeling and performance optimization • Strong experience with Power Automate (cloud flows, approvals, connectors) • Hands‑on experience building Power Apps • Experience integrating multiple data sources (SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, APIs, Excel, etc.) • Understanding of data governance, permissions, and security concepts Analytical & Communication Skills • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Comfortable working directly with business partners and leadership • Clear documentation and communication skills If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
