Title: Power Automate/Power Apps Developer - Regulatory Systems/Veev Vault
Duration: 2 months (Through December 31st)
Location: Rahway, NJ (hybrid)
Position Summary
The Power Automate/Power Apps Developer will support the Health Registration Management (HRM) Business Process Operations group within Regulatory Affairs. This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting "smart forms using the Microsoft Power Platform to enable centralized data entry and data quality activities as part of the organization's transition to Veeva Registrations Vault. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise with Power Platform tools and a solid understanding of business process automation and form design.
Key Responsibilities
• Transition existing and new data entry forms to Smart Forms using Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, and SharePoint.
• Develop and deliver user-friendly, extensible, and intelligent data entry forms following Agile methodologies.
• Implement advanced logic for error handling, data validation, and workflow automation.
• Collaborate with Veeva and Regulatory SMEs to align form functionality with user scenarios and business requirements.
• Ensure all designs and solutions are documented and follow form design best practices.
• Optimize user experience through thoughtful design and interface development.
• Maintain and support existing Power Platform solutions to ensure performance and scalability.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, or related discipline.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse).
• Strong experience developing PowerApps integrated with APIs for real-time and scheduled data retrieval.
• Expertise with Microsoft SharePoint Lists, including rules, workflow automation, scalability, and JSON customization.
• Proficiency in form design, data validation, and workflow logic management.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
Highly Preferred
• Pharmaceutical industry experience or regulatory system knowledge.
• Familiarity with Veeva Vault RIM Registrations.
Important Note:
This is a short-term contract opportunity ending December 31st. This role is not suitable for data analysts or business analysts it requires hands-on Power Platform development expertise.
