Loriens client is seeking a talented Senior Power BI Analyst / Data Visualisation Specialist to join their dynamic team on a contract basis for an initial 6 months (with options to extend). As the Senior Power BI Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the company's Business Information Transformation (BIT) programme, which aims to enhance decision-making, optimise operations, and foster innovation across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop and implement a structured data analysis framework to support consistent, high-quality insight generation.
β’ Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that drive business performance and service delivery.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective data visualisation solutions.
β’ Perform advanced data analysis and modelling to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
β’ Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with governance and GDPR standards.
β’ Contribute to the BIT programme's mission by delivering insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
β’ Extensive experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
β’ Strong analytical skills and a track record of working with large, complex datasets.
β’ Proven ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
β’ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
