Role description
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI Analyst to design and develop dashboards supporting IT Business Operations. This role focuses on transforming complex operational data into clear, actionable insights using Power BI. The IT Business Operations function spans service management, data centers, telecommunications, networking, servers, cloud infrastructure, radio networks, identity management, and endpoint management. Key Responsibilities β€’ Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to deliver actionable insights. β€’ Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards aligned with stakeholder needs. β€’ Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability. β€’ Collaboration: Partner with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective BI solutions. β€’ Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions and dashboards. β€’ Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including data sources, models, and processes. β€’ Quality Assurance: Ensure data and report quality through testing, validation, and ongoing review. Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. β€’ Proven experience as a Power BI Analyst or in a similar analytics role. β€’ Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query. β€’ Experience with data integration, data modeling, and database management. β€’ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. β€’ Strong written and verbal communication skills. β€’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills β€’ Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik. β€’ Working knowledge of SQL and database querying languages. β€’ Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies. β€’ Experience working with large-scale or public-sector datasets.
