Role Description
This is a contract role for a Power BI Architect. The position is hybrid, located in Des Moines, IA, with the flexibility to work from home part-time. As a Power BI Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced data analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI. Daily tasks include data visualization, creating interactive reports and dashboards, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating business needs to technical specifications, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and data visualization techniques
• Strong skills in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
• Experience in SQL, and database management
• Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and adapt to changing project needs
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus
