Senior Power BI Architect (Power BI Specialist) Location: Charlotte, NC 28255 - ( • • • Hybrid Position - 3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote in a week) Duration: 12-18 Months contract (Long Term) Local Or Nearby Candidates Required On W2 Only Client Interview Process: WebEx/MS Teams + In-Person/Onsite interview As a Senior Power BI Architect (Power BI Specialist) you will have: Key Skills/Experience: • Deep hands-on Power BI development experience (DAX, Power Query, data modeling). • Experience working in Enterprise BI environments. • Solid SQL Skills • Experience with Power BI Premium and Microsoft Fabric capacities • Knowledge of SSRS modernization and migration to Power BI / PBIRS • Good Communication Skills. Job Description: Power BI specialist who can support our enterprise BI environment. Key skills needed: • Deep hands-on Power BI development experience (DAX, Power Query, data modeling). • Strong troubleshooting skills for dataset refresh issues, gateways, permissions, and performance. • Ability to support tenants with challenges in implementing Power BI capabilities. • Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills to lead COE office hours and user education sessions. • Solid SQL skills and comfort working with technical and business partners. • Self-starter who can provide guidance, best practices, and help drive Power BI adoption. Min. Experience Required: 10 Years+ Required Qualifications • 5+ years Power BI report/dashboard development experience (DAX, Power Query, modeling, report design). • Strong troubleshooting experience supporting Enterprise BI environments. • Excellent presentation and communication skills; comfortable leading sessions and office hours. • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently. • Experience working in Agile environments. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Power BI Premium and Microsoft Fabric capacities. • Experience supporting or contributing to a BI Center of Excellence (COE). • Knowledge of SSRS modernization and migration to Power BI / PBIRS. • Experience mentoring developers or leading BI training sessions. • Familiarity with enterprise BI governance, RLS/OLS, and secure data practices.
