Job Title: Power BI Architect Duration: Long term contract/FTE Location: Remote Migration of Qlik Sense Applications to Microsoft Power BI , Qlik sense experience mandatory Educational Qualification • B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech Experience Range 15+ years Primary (Must have skills) • - To be Screened by TA Team 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Fabric(Power BI) on atleast 1 customer Project8+ years of experience in Power BI with experience in working on atleast 7+ Projects7+ years of experience working on designing reporting solutions8+ years of experience working with Business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and deliver BI solutions.4+ Yrs experience working with ETl/ELT solutions using Databricks or ADF/Synapse atleast 4 projectsLeverage Generative AI tools and Copilots (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Fabric Copilot, M365 Copilot) to accelerate code development, enhance data insights, and streamline documentation.Applied Gen AI capabilities in tasks such as pipeline generation, DAX and SQL authoring, metadata extraction, and documentation automation.Successfully led multiple Data Modernization initiatives leveraging Azure and Databricks. Job Description of Role • (RNR) - To be Evaluated by Technical Panel (Define it to give more clarity) Key technical skills :Customer & Architecture:Proven experience collaborating with Business & IT teams on requirement gathering and solution design.Experience preparing architecture blueprints.Independently created HLDs and LLDs for BI solutions including data models and reports. Microsoft Fabric:Hands-on experience building reporting solutions using Power BI on Microsoft FabricGood to have experience working with Fabric Copilots to accelerate data modeling, report generationWorked with DirectLake, OneLake, and Lakehouses to design and manage scalable data architectures.Built and orchestrated end-to-end data pipelines using Fabric Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks Power BI:Strong expertise in Power BI Pro, Premium, and Paginated reports.Advanced use of DAX, Power Query, and M languageProficient with Dataflows, Incremental Refresh, RLS, and Data Modeling.Led multiple report migrations from legacy BI platforms to Power BI. Data Engineering/Modelling1. Hands-on experience working with ETL/ELT solutions using ADF or Synapse or SSIS or any other industry standard ETL/ELT Tools2. Hands-on experience in desiging Gold layer and data models for consumption by reports and downstream applications Leverage Generative AI tools and Copilots (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Fabric Copilot, M365 Copilot) to accelerate code development, enhance data insights, and streamline documentation.Applied Gen AI capabilities in tasks such as pipeline generation, DAX and SQL authoring, metadata extraction, and documentation automation.Successfully led multiple Data Modernization initiatives leveraging Azure and Databricks. The candidate must have handled at least 8 Power BI and 1 Fabric projects and led the design and migration of semantic data models and reports.
