Power BI Architect (W2 Only)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Power BI Architect to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data modeling, analytics, DAX, SQL, and enterprise-level Power BI architecture. This role will play a critical part in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing Power BI solutions to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Power BI solutions including dashboards, reports, and data models • Architect enterprise-grade BI solutions using Power BI and Microsoft data stack • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications • Optimize Power BI performance through best practices in DAX and data modeling • Integrate Power BI with various data sources including SQL Server, Azure, APIs, and cloud-based platforms • Establish and enforce governance, security, and data access standards • Provide leadership and mentorship to Power BI developers and analysts • Maintain and enhance existing BI infrastructure and drive innovation through new tool adoption • Stay current with Power BI updates and recommend process and feature improvements Required Qualifications: • 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and data visualization • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI architecture and development • Expert-level proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL • Strong experience with data modeling, performance optimization, and analytics design • Proven track record of building scalable and maintainable BI solutions • Experience integrating Power BI with Azure, APIs, and third-party data sources • Solid understanding of data governance, row-level security, and role-based access control • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications: • Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Power BI certification • Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, or other cloud data platforms • Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus • Experience in Agile or DevOps environments
