Role description
JCW has partnered with a large Data Analytics company that is seeking a PowerBi Architect on a Contract basis (6 months - 1 year). This opportunity is Remote, but you must be located in an EST time zone.
You’ll lead the strategy and governance behind a high-impact Power BI dashboard. This is not a hands-on dev role; they are looking for someone to guide, advise, and train junior analysts while building a structured, scalable BI environment.
Brief Overview of Responsibilities:
• Oversee architecture/design of internal Power BI dashboards
• Guide on CI/CD and environment setup (Dev, Staging, Prod)
• Establish data governance best practices
• Train junior analysts & lead performance optimization
Qualifications:
• Strong experience leading Power BI dashboard development
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake & Power BI integration
• Experience with Row Level Security (RLS)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, GitHub, and deployment pipelines
• Experience with Okta SSO and Azure AD federation
• Ability to coach junior analysts and enforce BI standards
