Role description
Duration: 5+ Months
Location: MN-St. Paul, Hybrid 1-2 days onsite
Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Business Analyst, you will join Turnberry's Data Strategy and Intelligence practice and service. This service provides insights into company data, advanced analytics solutions, robust data governance, and tailored solutions for specific data challenges.
Responsibilities
β’ Develop business analysis artifacts (user stories, use cases, business models, needs and features, etc.) to document βas-isβ and βto-beβ requirements
β’ Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics and trends
β’ Elicit, analyze, and validate complex business needs of stakeholders, customers, and end users
β’ Translate functional specifications into technology solutions, with a focus on Power BI
β’ Validate that solutions (people, process, technology, and analytics) meet business capability, product, or system objectives
β’ Identify and communicate risks and issues to Product Owner and Scrum Master that may require changes to scope
β’ Business Analytics practice (methodologies, frameworks, and Power BI governance)
β’ Stakeholder Management and Power BI enablement
β’ Create interactive dashboards
β’ Best practices for Power BI governance, security, and sharing within an enterprise environment
Qualifications
β’ Business Analyst experience
β’ Power BI for data visualization, modeling, reporting
β’ Power Query, DAX
β’ Experience building traceability matrices and supporting medium to large projects
β’ Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document needs, features, and detailed requirements
β’ Proven ability to drive and coordinate diverse teams, both internally and externally
β’ Ability to integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI and ensure data quality
β’ Ability to train and support stakeholders in using Power BI reports and dashboards
β’ Expertise in business analytics methodologies and best practices
β’ Work effectively across leadership, functional teams, and customer organizations
β’ Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
β’ Proficiency designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports
The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $170,000 or the hourly equivalent.
