Business Intelligence & Program Analytics Specialist Focus Areas: Power BI, Executive Reporting, Process Automation, Program Management Detail Specification Role Business Intelligence & Program Analytics Specialist Location Hopkins, MN (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite Required) Job Type Contract Engagement Duration 12+ Months Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence and Program Analytics Specialist to drive data transparency and executive reporting for a large, complex enterprise program. This role is central to synthesizing diverse program metrics, progress updates, and resource allocation needs into clear, actionable dashboards and high-impact senior leadership communications. The ideal candidate blends strong technical proficiency in the Microsoft data ecosystem (Power BI, Power Automate, Excel) with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities • Executive & Program Reporting: Serve as the primary driver for creating, updating, and maintaining high-quality PowerPoint presentations and detailed Excel models targeted at senior leadership and program steering committees. • Business Intelligence Development: Design, develop, and govern scalable, interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, leveraging expertise in DAX to visualize program health, key performance indicators (KPIs), and critical resource gaps. • Stakeholder Management: Proactively engage with leaders across the program to gather critical, timely updates regarding overall program progress, staffing requirements, and resource forecasts. • Operational Excellence & Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline, define, and automate existing manual reporting and operational processes utilizing Microsoft Power Automate and the broader M365 tool suite. Required Technical Qualifications The candidate must demonstrate proven experience in the following areas: • Microsoft Excel: 57 years of professional experience in complex data analysis, modeling, and management using advanced Excel functionalities. • Microsoft PowerPoint: 57 years of experience creating and delivering strategic presentations for executive and senior leadership audiences. • Power BI & DAX: 35 years of hands-on experience in developing, publishing, and maintaining enterprise-level Power BI solutions, including strong command of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for complex calculations. • Process Automation: 35 years of practical experience leveraging automation tools, specifically Microsoft Power Automate, to improve operational efficiency. Core Competencies • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into compelling narratives. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, tailored for presentation to executive and C-suite leadership. • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced program environment.
