Power BI Contractor – Construction Industry Experience (Remote/Denver Preferred)

A fast-growing Denver-based construction company is looking for a Power BI expert with experience in the construction industry to lead the development of comprehensive dashboards that unify data from pre-construction, accounting, and project operations. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design and development of Power BI dashboards to support strategic decision-making • Integrate data across multiple systems, including Sage 100 and Autodesk Construction Cloud • Configure Autodesk’s existing Power BI reporting tools, with a focus on expanding visibility into procurement data • Provide guidance on data architecture, platform suitability, and best practices • Collaborate with internal teams to identify reporting needs and define key project metrics • Deliver a roadmap, timeline, and resource plan for successful implementation Project Goals: • Create dashboards that allow us to track key project metrics across departments without spending days pulling reports • Leverage Autodesk's Power BI capabilities – especially helping us configure procurement data, which we currently lack visibility on • Explore options for embedding or integrating dashboards within Microsoft Teams to improve accessibility and team visibility • Improve insight into how precon, accounting, and operations tie together to drive project success You’ll Be Responsible For: • Auditing our current systems and reporting capabilities • Designing and implementing Power BI dashboards • Recommending and configuring necessary data connections • Guiding us through the setup, from start to finish This is a contract role, with immediate start preferred. Remote is OK, but Denver-based and familiar with the local market is preferred. A conversation with the recruiter, Operations Lead and Partner will be required.
