Client seeks a Power BI Data Analyst to design and build real-time and near real-time dashboards that complete Client's situational awareness capability. This contractor will transform curated Delta Lake data—queried via Azure Synapse serverless SQL pools or Azure SQL—into compelling, actionable visuals hosted in the Power BI GCC (Government Cloud) environment. The analyst must pair advanced SQL and DAX skills with solid dashboard design expertise, operate within GCC constraints (no Microsoft Fabric), and collaborate closely with the Operations team to turn requirements into user-focused reports.

QUALIFICATIONS
β’ 3+ years building enterprise dashboards with Power BI (Desktop & Service)
β’ Expert-level DAX and Power Query (M); deep experience optimizing models for performance
β’ Advanced T-SQL skills for query design, tuning, and data validation
β’ Demonstrated success delivering real-time or streaming Power BI solutions (DirectQuery, push datasets, or Stream Analytics output)
β’ Familiarity with Azure Synapse serverless SQL pools, Delta Lake tables, and Azure SQL
β’ Strong data visualization and UI/UX instincts; ability to translate operational scenarios into clear visuals
β’ Experience operating in Microsoft GCC or other government/regulated cloud a strong plus
β’ Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or Azure Enterprise Data Analyst (DP-500)
β’ Exposure to geospatial visuals or ArcGIS for Power BI
β’ Understanding of metadata-driven data lakehouse architectures and medallion patterns
